Lots of Racing
It was a nice night for racing at Mid-NE on Saturday August 16th. In the heat races I started 7th and made my way all the way to 1st!
Then in the "A" feature I started 12th and made my way to 2nd with 10 to go. The leader was about a straightaway ahead and I was slowly but surely running him down. I got up to two car lengths behind him then the checkered flag flew. If I would have had 5 more laps it would have been interesting.
Then on Sunday August 17th we pulled out to I-80 Speedway. I got 3rd in the heat race and transferred to the "A".
I started outside front row in the "A" feature but could not hold it there. The car was pretty loose and I fell to 14th by the end of the race. We learned a lot on the setup, even though we finished so far back.
It was a great weekend overall and I still hold the points lead at Mid-NE Speedway.
I will be racing at Mid-NE next Saturday.
