We pulled out to Junction Motor Speedway last night to race with the SLMR.
The night was filled with mechanical issues starting in the heat race when one of the belts on the engine broke and cut a power steering line taking us out of the race.
Then in the "A" feature I had to start dead last because of the DNF in the heat race. Once the green flag flew I took it easy for a lap to make sure the power steering was fixed then took off. I was very fast on the top and bottom passing around 5 cars in two laps. Then I looked down at my water temperature gauge and the motor was running to hot to continue the race. It just so happens that the other belt broke during the "A"
It was somewhat of a disappointing night but the car was really fast for the few laps I got to run in the "A". It was definitely a top 5 car.
